Value Engineering

Value Engineering (VE) is a systematic and structured approach that improves projects, products and processes. VE helps achieve balance between required functions, performance, quality, safety and scope with the cost and other resources necessary to accomplish the requirements.

Our team of qualified and experienced multi-disciplined professionals and specialists performs VE, lead by the first ARAB Certified Value Specialist, DR. Engineer Humoud A. Al Salmi.M

Our services include, but not limited to:

  1. Value Engineering study for various Projects such as Airports, Industrial Infrastructure, Residential/Commercial Complexes, Educational Institutions etc.
  2. We Conduct VE studies as per SAVE International’s standard job plan, which consists of six phases:
    • Information: Gather information to better understand the project.
    • Function Analysis: Analyze the project to understand and clarify the required functions.
    • Creative: Generate ideas on all the possible ways to accomplish the required functions.
    • Evaluation: Synthesize ideas and concepts and select those that are feasible for development into specific value improvements.
    • Development: Select and prepare the ‘best’ alternatives for improving value.
    • Presentation: Present the value recommendation to the project stakeholders.
  3. Cost Estimates & Scope Statements are checked thoroughly assuring that nothing has been omitted or under estimated.
  4. Multi-Discipline team approach.
  5. Organizing Training & workshops for Government & Private entities.
  6. Promoting awareness of Value Engineering.
